Why I started anyo aestheticsI’m Gail Torres, a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of nursing experience and advanced training in medical aesthetics.
I started Anyo Aesthetics with a simple goal: to provide thoughtful, personalized care that helps people feel truly confident, supported, and seen. I wanted to create a space where connection, education, and trust are foundational, and where every result feels natural, authentic, and aligned with your unique goals.
My journey into aesthetics began in Chicago, where I completed hands-on training in neuromodulators and dermal fillers. What began as a professional interest quickly turned into a calling. I discovered how much I loved combining clinical skill with artistry, and helping clients feel more at home in their skin at every age and stage of life.
Today, I bring that same heart and focus into every appointment at my boutique practice in the North Valley. Whether I’m developing a wellness plan, offering subtle cosmetic treatments, or helping you understand your options, I take my time and lead with honesty. My approach is never about chasing trends. It’s about building lasting relationships and delivering care that feels right for you.
Beyond client care, I also mentor fellow medical professionals in advanced injection techniques. Sharing my knowledge is one more way I hope to raise the standard of care and contribute to a more thoughtful, informed aesthetic industry.
Why “anyo”?
The name Anyo comes from the Tagalog word for “form,” and it holds deep meaning for me.
It reflects both my Filipino heritage and my belief that true beauty begins with honoring who you already are. I don’t believe in changing people. I believe in helping them feel more aligned with how they see themselves.
In Filipino culture, anyo describes more than just appearance. It speaks to the way something is shaped, expressed, or presented. That idea guides every part of my practice. My approach to aesthetics is always personal, respectful, and centered on your unique structure and goals. Every treatment is meant to support the version of you that feels most authentic and true.
